Russian contemporary artist Artem Loskoutov is being illegally pursued and forcibly held by militia in Novosibirsk. He is confined since Friday, 15 of May. Artem is well known in Novosibirsk as one of the leaders of underground art-scene. Since 2004, he has developed a number of performances, known to international artistic community. Currently he is accused in illegal drugs possession and in criminal political extremism.

It's more than a half year since pressing of Russian special services (FSB, UBOP) towards activists of FNB in Bryansk began. According to instructions of FSB and UBOP local fascists attack anarchists and private threats from representatives of government are received. Criminal cases about facts of attack aren't being started. From the WEB mass-media are being deleted messages about agression towards FNB. By oficial news this information is ignored.

Anarchist Bookfair in Zagreb (ASK - Anarhisticki sajam knjiga) is annual anarchist event that aims to become a long-term, developing project. * The collective editors of the Venezuelan journal El Libertario and the Organizacion Nelson Garrido, have issued a call out for filmmakers and video activists from all over the world to present their recent autonomous works concerning active social movements in struggle. This will be held in Caracas, Venezuela, between the 21st and the 28th of January 2008.

Two years ago as part of the Alternative Social Forum, an autonomous event that ran parallel to the World Social Forum that took place in Caracas in January 2006, the first screening of Independent Documentaries and Videoactivism took place, in which 13 documentaries from seven countries were screened www.fsa.contrapoder.org.ve/muestravideo.htm). We are issuing a call out now for the second screening which will take place in the Venezuelan capital, as well as in other cities in Venezuela.
