At July, 16 approximately one hundred of anarchists (participants of the Network Against G8 from many cities and countries) organized demonstration in spite of all so called security measures taken in Saint Petersburg during the whole period of G8 summit. At 5 p.m. 8 people dressed in white shirts and very similar to the leaders of states members of G8 have appeared on 7th line of Vasilieskiy Island. They posed for journalist for a while and then ceremoniously moved away.

At 5.15 pm anarchists grouped in block on this place and moved aside Schmidt's quay. Demonstrators carried black and black-red flags, transparencies "G8 go out", "We are to guzzle your shit ", "Sammit is fuckkit" and others. Many participants of the action were dressed in pink clothes and put on pink clowns noses. Scansions "No to G8", "Hoist higher black flag, a state is the worst enemy", "No to war in Iraq and the Chechen Republic", "The main enemy is in our country, the main enemy is in the Kremlin" were heard.

The demonstration moved from Schmidt's quay the 12-th line, and only there police managed "to catch up" anarchists. Demonstrators scattered those leaflets which they had not time to distribute to passers-byes and dispersed through courtyards. The police and the appeared in time the bus of riot squad (OMON) had nothing to do, but to leave.

Some participants of demonstration heard negotiations of OMON the heads - the last was terribly dissatisfied with the fact that nobody of the participants of the action was arrested on a place. Militiamen urgently

Policeman immediately started the execution of the command, therefore after 20 or 30 minutes after the termination of demonstration 33 persons suspicious from the point of view of authorities of a kind in area of station of underground were are detained. Now they are in 16 police station at the address 19-th line, 10, phone (812) 305-02-16. Policemen say that people are detained with the purpose of check of their documents.
