Anti-fascists and anarchist actions around Russia 4th of November

"Unity day" 4th of November has become a favorite day of
the year of fascists of various stripes to March in the
streets of Russia. However in most of the cities numbers
of Nazis have been steadily declining since 2005, when
"Unity day" holiday first replaced "Day of pacification
and agreement" 7th November, which had replaced October
revolution celebration in the 1990's. In contrast to last
year, This time authorities allowed far-right to march in
almost all of the regions.

In St. Petersburg, around 700 nationalists marched under
flags of DPNI (movement against illegal migration),
Slavic Union and black, golden and white-stripe tricolor
of tsar. Participators were proudly throwing their right
hands to an ancient Slavic greeting, popularized by Il
Duce and Hitler.

During night of 4th of November, Sovetskiy street was
painted with huge letters "Down with Nazis" and "Stop
fascism", slogans were so noteworthy that whole fascist
colon stopped to read them. Much of the houses were
painted as well, and lamp-post covered with anti-fascist
stickers.

An elderly lady was confronting marchers with placate
"Fascism won't trespass in Russia", and a portrait of
Afro-Russian poet Pushkin.

A group called "Ilya Borodaenko commando" threw Nazi
colon with 4 paintball grenades, it was a response to
attempted Nazi bombing of a music festival 13th of
October. Anti-fascists declared that they will response
explosives with paint.

Yet another group of antifascists attempted to sneak to
Chernishevskiy gardens, which was ending point of the
fascist march, but they were arrested and their banner
was taken by police.
