On September, 17th at 3 p.m. picket of the nationalist party DPNI on the Pioneer square passed. About 3.30 p.m. a group of unknown persons nearby about 30 in number appeared from park. Their faces were hidden by scarfs and respirators. Shouting "Antifa" they inflamed pyrotechnic fires and plunged into the picket. As it should be expected nazi tried to escape, but they were not successful in it. Fight was fastened. The thrashing started.

ACTION OF ANARCHISTS FROM THE NETWORK AGAINST THE G8: BLOCKAGE OF THE RADISSON HOTEL ON NEVSKY PROSPECT IN PETERSBURG
JULY 16, 2006

Today, July 16, 2006, at 8.30 in the morning a group of anarchists – participants of the network against the g8 (www.spb8.net) from different cities and countries blocked Nevsky prospekt in Saint Petersburg as a sign of protest against the neoliberal policies of the G8.

The traditional anti-war picket in Saint Petersburg against the war in Chechnya, which since 6 years is held every Sunday on Malaya Konyushennaya str. near to the Nevsky Prospekt has been broken up by the police on July 16 at 14.30.
At least 8 of about 20 participants have been arrested, according to other sources - 12. The Police refused to tell to which police department the arrested have been brought, but it is assumed that they are in the same 28 department where in the morning 36 arrested from the Nevsky prospekt blockade had been brought.

At July, 16 approximately one hundred of anarchists (participants of the Network Against G8 from many cities and countries) organized demonstration in spite of all so called security measures taken in Saint Petersburg during the whole period of G8 summit. At 5 p.m. 8 people dressed in white shirts and very similar to the leaders of states members of G8 have appeared on 7th line of Vasilieskiy Island. They posed for journalist for a while and then ceremoniously moved away.

around 8:30h around 30-40 people went on the streets in front of the radisson hotel and shouted slogans, put banners and went in front of the hotel.
The police was surprised, first. Then OMON special forces came run next to the protesting people and tried to keep them away from the street.
Someone with a trumpet was graped in the neck and forced to walk with policemen to the sidewalk. Other people were standing with their banners and were pushed by cops to leave the street. Some fell down and some were carried around the corner. Activists were abused by civil policemen or secret service (?) civilists and provoked. Police arrived at the other side of the street and their first target was to blockade journalists to take pictures. One cameraman was arrested and they tried to get the film of one photographer till he said he would not make pictures any more. OMON tried to grap him later when he was using his telefone, then they released him., probably because he is foreigner and they were too confused of situation to continue with the agressive attack.
